    Google Sheets/Excel learning ?

I use sheets at work with a very rudimentary understanding of it.

Told myself last year I was going to master it and never did.

Through all of this stay in place stuff I need to buckle down and work on improving some skills.

My question is does anyone know of an online course that could help? I've been searching and don't want to spend money on something that may not take me further than I already am. I don't need a class on formatting I need to learn how to import raw data and make it presentable to my employees.

I 100% use google sheets but if there's an excel course I'm open to that as figuring out the differences between the two is a minor detail.

YouTube is your friend. I’m no master of excel and that’s partly because I don’t need to retain excel knowledge, I can look it up on YouTube lol.

As mentioned, YouTube videos are very helpful. Quick google searches also turn up a lot of good information if you know what you’re looking for.

Im not sure what your current level of excel knowledge is but an easy way to start learning excel at a higher level is to realize anything you’re currently doing manually can probably be done through formulas and functions. Type a short description of what you’re doing into google and there’s probably an example out there you can walk through

A few basic functions/tools that are handy to know are:
          SUM
          AVERAGE
          IF
          IFTHEN
          IFERROR
          COUNT
          COUNTIF
          VLOOKUP
          AVERAGEIF
          Conditional Formatting
          Filters
          Tables

ExcelisFun on YouTube. Hour long vlookup and pivot table videos are a great starting point.

Exactly where I'm at. I'm taking the long road.

I'm searching youtube and google. Part of my issue there is in my head I know what I want to do but since I don't know how to do it it's been difficult to narrow my search.

I took a course last year online and it was a huge help. Intermediate course and intro to pivot tables.

That said if it weren't for work paying for it, I'd have went to youtube.
