"EIGHTH"

Do Not Plant Mixed Seed:
God's laws governing food are still in effect today as His words are forever. Growing up many of us had small garden's these gardens were replanted year after year watermelon, corn and other produce with seeds naturally occurring within them. Today they are hard to find. We see more seedless watermelon, grapes and cucumbers than we do the seed varieties. Genetically modified foods (GMO) are fabricated when there is a combination (mixture). This should cause concern amoung believers because this tampering with God's perfect design will result in corrupt fruit which also results in a corrupt seed. The end result is not what our Heavenly Father has intended both in the natural (foods) and spiritual (words).
In the parable of the sower we see how Jesus uses a seed to represent His word which results in life when consumed. The tree of life is one natural example we are given in order to understand the spiritual. The expression you are what you eat takes on an all new meaning when we understand the spiritual effects
This principle of the seed also applies to the tree of death.
This tree is a mixed tree (corrupt) that produces a mixed seed or mixed words or mixed message. This is precisely the way Satan works to deceive both man and woman.
After consuming the fruit both natural and spiritual Adam and Eve became carriers fruit in which they had consumed. This corrupt mixture of the holy and profane resulted in the fall of mankind. This fruit would have also contained seed of that fruit. According to God's design they will now produce fruit according to what they had consumed. We see manifestation of this seed in their offspring. Cain and Able. Able representing obedience to Gods instructions by providing a better offering a lamb or firstling of his flock and even from their fat! Able knew the protocol and obeyed it while Cain even after being corrected by God chose to rebel against what he had been told by God.
In GMO foods a section of chromosome is removed from the original molecular structure and a specific gene from another source, foreign to the original, is inserted in its place.
In the last fifty years genetically modifying our food chain has changed the way the food industry and consumers think. Man has always wanted to create like God. Cross-pollinating in the flower industry created the hybrid tea rose. Cross breeding of dogs created designer dogs like the Labradoodle. When the food industry decided to go beyond genes and introduce markers from other sources other than a plant source the GMO industry took off. How can the consumer tell the difference?
We must examine the true pure seed(word) of God in order to spot the counterfeit. As believers we must continually study the word daily as this is the only "bread" that will sustain our life.
Modifying God's original design or words is changing God's order upon the earth. GMO seed does not breed true and is unreliable if not pointless to repeat a second year, as it cannot reproduce itself. It is a tainted seed. Though man may regard a hybrid seed a better variety financially, genetically altered food is actually considered a poison by the medical society.
