Got into the Desert Door last night. It wasn't too bad. It was different but I liked it pretty well.

I like Evan Williams single barrel

          Clear?

So I'm seeing clear tequilas labeled reposado and/or añejo but that means it's been aged. I could've swore it was the aging in barrels that gave it the color. That's why a blanco is clear, for lack of aging. So how do you get a clear añejo or reposado?

Depends on barrel. Repasado is 6 months, anejo is a year... that ain’t long. In a new barrel probably won’t discolor much. Used and or charred barrel... more color

Haven't seen it listed yet but we buy Dos Armadillos Tequila Reposado.

I have had about all listed above and many others. Tequila is my drink of choice.

Cava De Oro, Extra Anejo is awesome. I get a bottle in Cabo each trip. Everyone that drinks it thinks it's a whiskey.

Well yall got me to pick up a bottle of clase azul reposado, my lord is it good.
Also picked up some fortaleza blanco, which blew me away, considering I don't much care for any of the blancos I've had by themselves.
