Bought an older Mathews bow off the Classifieds (thanks again, Nick!), and took it to On Target Archery in Canton today to set up. They swapped the cam, timed everything, adjusted peep and d-loop, served in the cord for the QAD rest, built me 12 new arrows, and helped me zero my 20 yard pin before I left. All in about an hour and a half. Also enjoyed great conversation with the staff while I waited. Pricing was VERY reasonable for everything. Now all I need to do is start shooting to get back in shape so I can go back and have the draw weight increased a little before bow season.
I posted this to remind us all that your local pro shop, like everyone else, is very likely hurting for business during the Covid epidemic. So, now is a good time to perform that essential hunting preparation activity and get your bows tuned up, set up, or new ones purchased!
