How well do the speakers and radio hold up? Even if insulated, I would think enough heat for long periods of time would wear both out pretty quickly.

It won't be subjected to any more heat on here than any marine radio on a boat in the middle of summer. Should hold up fine!

Won't those tires by the fire box melt when it gets hot?
