    Never seen a speckled king with stripes across his back like that. I know there are different varieties of them though.

          I wouldn't necessarily say any are "bad" snakes. Some just hurt a little worse when they bite ya. A snake's gonna do what a snake does.

            Speckled king...best snake in the woods. Poisonous snake killer. And usually will let you pick them up without biting if you don’t manhandle them.
