    Gas grills??

we built a new deck on the back of our house - what is a good stand alone gas grill? Thanks

Weber gas grills are great. You pay more up front, but the grilling performance is amazing when compared to the cheaper $200-$300 big box brands. The newer Webers have a 10 year warranty as well. Besides marginal grilling performance (i.e. uneven cooking temps/ hot and cold spots), most of the cheap grills lasted me 2-3 years before needing to be replaced. Finally got a Weber propane grill that lasted over 12 years before I got a newer model. My old Weber was still running strong with all original parts, except the igniter had just gone out. When I factor in all of the cheap propane grills I bought before purchasing a Weber, I would have come out ahead by just biting the bullet up front. I have seen some good deals on used Weber grills in the TBH classifieds, Craigslist, and Facebook maketplace.

I’m happy with natural gas Weber Genesis plumbed into the house with a side burner. I like using the burner to keep from warming up the kitchen. It’s 10 plus years old and it’s time to upgrade to stainless grates and flame covers. Had a few cheap propane grills prior and they don’t last.

I have a Weber Genesis that I've had for 20+ years. I go through 4-5 bottles of propane a year. I have had to replace the "flavorizer" bars once.

Anyone mention Weber? I have both gas and charcoal Weber’s. Great products.

I was looking at Weber too since it's time to upgrade ours...anyone have the Blackstone griddle one?? I'm kind of leaning toward that since i've never had one like that

Weber, bought myself one after several others that rotted out. Also have my dads he bought when I was 8-10 so 30+ years old and still cooks good.

Wife got me a weber from sears once. It didn't last 2 years. So, with all folks talking weber went out and looked that the genesis II. Different grill than I had. So if I were going to get a gas grill I'd consider one. 10 yr warranty if that matter.

Of course, I like be BGE for grilling.

Would add, if I were to get a gas grill, I'd make sure a cast iron skillet would fit on the side burner. My last grill with side burner one wouldn't fit.

I have a weber genesis stainless since 2013. First gas grill I have owned in over 30 years. Love it. I keep my cover on it all of the time also.
