    .

Amen brother. As christians, we are commanded to spread the word. God uses each of us in our daily lives. What better way to spread the word then to meet folks with the same interests. I have alot of hobbies and I make it point to meet everyone; hopefully others will see Christ in me and then mabye I can tell them about Jesus. If we are not sharing the word with some good folks (hunters, fishermen, golfers) then they may never hear about Jesus. We should be involved in everything. We are hiding, then we are breaking one of the most important commandmants (spreading the word). The main commandment is to love God with all your heart, mind, and soul. I done preaching for now.

Some of the activities include: 3-d shoot weekly for 2 months leading up to bow season, shed hunt outing, film hunt toward end of season where each of us invite a non-christian and then draw names to see who will hunt and who will film and who their partner is, overnight hunt, wild game feasts, trips to deer & turkey expo and other outdoor shows. We leave all activities open to anyone we know not just members of the church. Several guys in our group were led to Christ by hanging out with us on 3-d night.

Cool! Great stuff here. That's the kind of ideas I was looking for.

You're as entitled to your opinion as I am to mine, but my Bible portrays Jesus to be a very social individual. It's too bad that more Christians don't reach out to people outside of their own congregation. JMHO I applaud the churches that come up with such creative ways to reach out to the community.
