Free corn with condition to kill more hogs
A few weeks ago I trapped a 3rd sounder bringing my total pig kills to 42 at the time. I was talking to my neighbor who farms 25,000 acres and he said keep up the great work! I mentioned that I need to go buy more corn and he said bring your truck and we'll fill it with all the corn you want.
I started thinking about it and knew I wanted to put it in barrels and I recalled a TBH post of a similar situation for another member, Texas Grown. He suggested the barrels but put them on a pallet first to make off loading easier.
So when I called my neighbor on Friday to tell him about several more pigs we trapped and killed, he said they were at the barn all day due to mud and they had a corn wagon with an auger that I could fill barrels with.

I grabbed all of my barrels (2) and my metal trash can. put them on a pallet and they loaded me up. Zip zip. Now this corn is not clean and it will jam up a feeder quick but It is perfect for luring pigs to a hole and along the ground. That's how most of our pig trapping corn goes anyway. We have a feeder but it only adds the sound of corn being thrown. It helps.
Now it is in my barn and has already been in use.
