I think the parents should have to discipline kids the way the teachers are forced to. There would be a whole new respect for teachers... but I completely understand what you mean!

Well now the patents will get to see what they SPAWNED .close up and in HD... Spare the rod and spoil the child!!!!its so true...

I live within a stones throw of a School and the language and stuff I see would make a Sailor Blush...and the stories i hear teachers tell ..they need to issue teachers baseball bats...and give prizes for using them.

Maybe staying in close quarters will make them (use protection)
instead of make more Headaches

Yea we were not perfect parents but we Tried...had 4 and all turned out Great...Thank the Lord!!! if we had to do it again 2 would be better number

Personally, I have contemplated several times on becoming a teacher. It's all the mess outside of actually teaching, they have to deal with, and the pay that just keeps me from chasing it. Much respect to those who do!

And then there is the issue of Social Security vs Teacher Retirement System (TRS) where 2nd-career teachers have to chose between losing their previous job SS benefits because of TRS. It's bad and needs to be fixed.
