Just personal opinion here but, If you want the biggest/baddest bike on the block (SxS or Quad). Pick up a can am 1000, of your preferred flavor. Huge power, break neck speed, and a pretty good reliability record. You’re gonna pay for it though, they are proud of their machines.

I have a 2015 ranger 570 fullsize crew with over 1500 hours. I have nothing negative to say about. Basic maintenance and just got brake pads and front bearings done. Have it on a 3 inch lift. Been very happy with it. All kinds of accessories you can get too. My choice. It's never been to a mud park though. Hunting lease only.

We love our Kawasaki Teryx 2, and it does everything we ask for and then some. 120" long overall, so fits on trailers really easily. Great comfy seats, and we have gone over a hundred miles per day with no fatigue. It has a 600# rated dump bed, and I know for a fact that 2 quartered bull elk fit just fine. It has a winch, but I have never been able to get it stuck yet. We use on roads and trails to prevent beating up an expensive pickup. You say for hunting, so if you want to use it in the West for trails on USFS lands, it will need to be less than 50" wide.

Forget the four wheeler and get a SxS... I finally made the switch several years ago and regret not doing it sooner!!
I’ve got a Ranger, as do the other five guys on my lease. They are awesome. You won’t hear any complaints out of the guys about them, and some of them have some pretty high miles and and hours on them. The only other brand I’ve ever been around is a Kawasaki Mule and they seem like work horses. CanAms are really getting popular too. I’m sure that made it clear as mud!

I have an older yamaha rino that we use to haul corn . But most of the time I bring my honda rancher. It fits in the bed of my truck. If I stick it I can pick up 1 end and spin it around. It's easier to maneuver in the woods.. if I'm gonna drive something as big as a ranger or rino I just take my jeep. It has heat ac etc..

Love the machine and they were thousands cheaper than the other dealer

If you want the best of both worlds, Honda Pioneer 500 is a side by side that will fit in the back of a pick up bed and qualifies for Western trails in the mountain... Tons of power and a steering wheel instead of handle bars. I have a Honda Pioneer 1000-5. Had a 700-4. It's a Honda so that's all you need to know about reliability... That 1000 is a beast!
