    Polaris ranger rear brake question

Long story short, we ended up getting a new ranger 150 last week and yesterday I noticed the brakes were squeaking under slow speeds and also noticed that when it's off and in neutral, you can clearly hear the rear brake pad friction on the rotor when we roll it. I'll add a pic of the rear brake assembly and you can see that the pad is on contact with the rotor and it appears that there is a line on the Piston where it should be retracting to but it's not.

Should the Piston be retracting into the assembly more than it it?

The brake light stays on as well so I'm thinking that I can adjust the brake but just wanted to check here before I start messing with a machine with 5 hours on it.

    Any help is appreciated...

Here is the pad and rotor and also where the cable comes in, can it be backed off right there?

Trying bleeding the brakes and renewing the brake fluid. Don’t it have a warranty?

Yes I just don't want to drive 35mins and drop it off for who knows how long if it's something I can adjust at home.

I'll bump this up one more time for any input... A buddy at work said since it's new the tolerances are probably pretty tight and that it'll loosen up after we drive it a bit.... It has 5 hours and about 30 miles on it.
