Who remembers your phone number starting with letters? Mine was Fleetwood1-4506, short version FL1-4506.

I know Burnadell will remember this.

I still use metal ice trays with levers!
I remember the smell and sound of the ice breaking when you removed it from those trays. Those bring back memories...

I remember 2,3,4,5,11. I really don't count 4 and 5 because they were not common.

The wife and I were in our local dollar general checking out at the register. They had blackjack gum at the checkout. I had never heard of it, and actually comm ented to my wife about how generac the package looked.

Lehigh 28054. Also San Antonio area had Edison, Walnut, and Capitol. Oh, and also if you wanted to call long distance you called the operator. They would ask "collect or reverse the charges."

I remember in my home town all you had to do was dial the last four digits to call someone.
Also you guys remember when some ones phone was busy you could call the operator and have them break into their call tell them they had an emergency call and to hang up. LOL

17 out of 17. Never forget my 1st flat top and using the butch wax. It smelled good and I thought I was the cock of the walk.

                                Got'em all but Teaberry gum.
You want to laugh? I use those old metal ice cube trays as part bins on my gun bench Depression era parents taught me to throw nothing away.
How about no seatbelts and sitting on the armrest next to Dad. Riding in the back of the pickup. Your folks smoking in the car with you.
Oh boy the list goes on.
                                How did we survive?
