How do you mow your yard?

Normal city lot and I don't mow it. My wife decided when we moved in here that she wanted to do the yard. Sounded good to me, I'll buy her whatever kind of mower, etc. that she wants.

Subdivision lot about 10,000sf of grass.

None of the above on all the mowing options. I have a robot mower. It mows in random patterns. So I don't mow at all. I just weedeat occasionally.

I have 2.5 acres on my homestead.. It has 2 houses with detached garages. A goat pen of approx 1 ac. The goats take care of the acre. Lots of trees. I mow the rest with a JD 42" mower just because lots of small places to go between. Takes me a couple hours.

Someone needs to come to my place and tell me what I need to do. I have never owned anything like this in my life and this is my wife's and my forever home. Most of this has been maintained by the previous owner with a 54" zero turn, but some has been left to grow, you can see it when you see the property. I will need help for sure as all I have ever owned is city lots so regular mowers have done my jobs!

If any one in the Rogers/Temple area wants to look at the place and tell me what I am looking at, let me know and I will give you the address and you can tell me how far I am in over my head on this. I have the 54" Zero Turn that is getting serviced right now, but never owned one and plan on buying a tractor/shredder/front end loader in the not to distant future.
HELP would be greatly appreciated.
