    Flavored olive oil?

Anyone tried any of the flavor infused olive oil? Texana Brand has several flavor infused olive oils and wondering which would be best.. obviously kind of pricey, but interested..

    It's delicious!!
Take a trip out to Dripping Springs and you can taste probably 50 different ones at the Texas Hill Country Olive Oil Company. The tour is pretty cool too.

San Saba Olive Oil Company or whatever it's called has some great selections as well. Had never heard of it, saw it driving through town and stopped in. I like the roasted garlic. They have a good website to order from.

My wife and I stopped by the Bella Vista Ranch outside of Wimberley years ago to do a wine tasting. The guy placed 6 lil glasses in front of us. It took everything I had not to bust out laughing when he poured olive oil into our first glass. I will never forget the "please do something" look on my wife's face (I'm lmao right now just typing this). After we finished the second "tasting" my wife was desperately wanting me to intervene but the guy was so passionate about the olive oil I couldn't bring myself to tell him it tasted like olive oil lol. When he poured the third glass my wife looked like she wanted to cry and she couldn't take anymore, it was at that point that I completely lost it! I was laughing so hard my eyes were watering. Once I could breath again and speak clear English I asked the young man if we could try their wine...we can now check olive oil tasting off of our bucket list

Do it yourself. Buy good Olive Oil and put what you want in it to flavor it. Warning. Infused oils will go bad over time so keep it in the refrigerator.

                      The mesquite infused is good.

Being a Persian, I love olive oil that tastes like Olives...
I sometimes pour some freshly cracked black pepper into it for the flavor and some zing and dip bread in it for a quick snack

It’s good to just dip bread into. Way too expensive for me to cook with
