Lots of factors there not listed above. You might look into renting once or twice a year if thats all you need it for and cant use it for tax deductions.
Everybody is most likely going to list their brand tractor and model, The renting option listed above is some great advice depending on how far your lease is, if you'll be towing it back and forth, and weather or not you can get some home use out of it as well.
We started out using a John Deere 1025r which is really a yard and garden tractor. We got things done, but it took forever. Pros are it gets into tight areas and takes up little garage space. Cons. Small size/limited power. Repairs and attachments cost the same as actual tractor attachments.
From there we bought an 80’s IH hydro 84 2wd with a 7’ brush Hog and a few little attachments. 60hp tractor was a game changer and it was my wife’s grandfathers, so I’d buy it again no question. 4wd would be nice. I’ve been buried in the woods once and it wasn’t fun getting out. It’s useless on wet or frozen ground as it slides around.
Also doesn’t have a loader as it was used to run grain augers and the mower.
This is also the point where we had to buy a 12k# trailer which put our half tons over capacity. It’s fine for a few miles but not advise able so a trailer and a 1 ton gasser and another welder, pile of chains and binder later things are getting a lot better. We also had to rework the shop to park it inside on the trailer as well as cut entrances into our property taller and wider. Brushing in the woods, it seems like we’re always losing pins and parts off the drawbar/pto, which is too often a day killer.
Last fall we picked up a used CAT skid steer. So far it’s the most used and favored. I like the cab, being protected from overhead limbs, bees and some dust. It loads fast and takes up little space and the power is an improvement
Going to attempt to run the IH attachments off the remotes the next few weeks and see what we can do.
So my advice is think about what you’re planning to do and rent a skid steer and tractor to get the biggest stuff done, then buy the one that suits you best and keep it nice maintaining the big jobs you did with the rental equipment. Also, deck over trailers, fenders get in the way and get wrecked.
Kubotas are definitely good tractors, but mine is a Branson. It has been a good one so far. Like said above, get as much HP as you can afford, there is no too much HP.

As stated, many brands and some many have not ever heard of. I bought a Lenar, made in S Korea, from a local dealer in Granbury and it lasted with NO problems for 6+- years. I threw it in to the buyer of my small ranch when I had gone thru the wonderful divorce stage. Had all the attachments, 4x4, 40hp and even had a auger for fence posts.
Moral of the story...he did NOT take care of it maintenance wise and when he finally paid the price, he really paid the price. Took him forever to find parts so as for me recommending a brand...get one if you decide to buy that has ample service/parts or you will really have to rent one.
