In these trying, troubling and uncertain times

Let's not forget to Love another.

Let us all continue to be open to give and receive a Random Act of Kindness.

As Always My Heart is filled with Love for You and Your Families. Not because I am commanded to Love my Neighbor, but because I can, am able to and it brings me Joy.

Good message. Today I went and got a haircut at The Gents Place in Southlake. There is a Greta group of girls that run the place. They told me that multiple shops had been shut down across the nation and even at their store they had let go about half their staff. Something came over me and I made the decision to tip all 6 girls that were working what I gave the gal that cut my hair, $25. It's not much but I am hoping it gets them to where they need to go for the week. One girl told me she and her husband just purchased their last home they planed to retire in a month ago. Her husband has already been laid off and she was losing hours at her job.

If you can afford it, random acts of kindness will go a long way. And it doesn't have to been monetary. Giving your time is often more valuable.

      Thanks for posting, pb2.

        Nice gesture!

When I go to the mom & pop liquor store that I frequent to restock my cabinet, there is occasionally someone beside me buying a pocket-sized bottle of the cheapest vodka he can buy. Most of the time the spirit takes hold of me, and I tell him to go get him a big bottle of the stuff; on me! You would think they hit the lotto they are so appreciative. Just doing my part to keep them drunk!

In college that would have been a whopping $12 for a fifth of Kentucky deluxe.

Edit... And yes, I would have kissed the ground you walked on!

                Psalm 23:1-6 NASB
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.
[2] He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.
[3] He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.
[4] Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
[5] You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.
[6] Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
