I had hammer toe surgery and it’s no fun. A couple of days into it my wife was throwing a ball for the dog. He chased it, lost traction, and slid into this big decorative panel my wife had leaning against the wall. It started to fall on him so I reached out to catch it and missed it by about a half inch. It missed the dog and landed on my toe. Have you ever opened your mouth and nothing came out? Each one of those toes have what looks like a finishing nail in it as well as part or all of the joint removed. Feeling your pain bro!

Yep, thats exactly what my procedure was....cant imagine something hitting my foot right now....I might pass out.

Last time I had foot surgery ended up getting blood clots in my lungs so watch out

I feel your pain. I had foot surgery at the end of February and have been laid up at home ever since. Good thing is been quarrentied bad thing hate being cooped up.
In hard cast now maybe walking boot in a few weeks.
