Crazy. I usually stop in Comanche on my way in, but if I forget or need anything while at the lease that is the store I head to. Especially if I need feeder parts. There's another store outside town a little bit, towards Richland Springs. Guess that will have to support them until it gets rebuilt

sad deal...what about the store on the square where they make Bills seasoning? Did it shut down or something? I go thru there every few months to stock up on Bill's, but have not been thru there since beginning of deer season

G&R? If so, looks like it shut down end of ‘19. Which is sad because they just redid it and it was pretty nice. Hopefully theyll open it back up now. Almost seems like theyd have too.

What a shame. Prayers for the people of San Saba. I was just in there 2 weeks ago. Hope they can rebuild quickly.

It was bought from the original owner and was open for about a year. It closed a couple of months now.

My daughter is the regional manager over that store. She called me and told me about the fire this afternoon. Said it was an electrical fire. They just restocked it yesterday, total loss. They have leased another building in town and hope to have it stocked and up and running by this next weekend. She said they are also going to tear the old structure down and build a new store/Ace hardware on the current location. Should take at least a year, maybe 2 to rebuild. Hopefully the residents won't be without a grocery store very long

That sucks. That's where I shop when I'm at my lease. Was just thinking of going to the lease this weekend and just waiting until I got there to shop to avoid the craziness in the Austin stores.
