As a Central Texas native, I have been used to treestand or ground blind hunting only for most of my bow hunting life. Given the opportunity to do some spot and stalk hunting recently, I realized the difficulty of judging distances especially when all the brush and senderos look the same. I constantly over estimated and used wrong pin, sailing arrows way over them. I was finally able to get it done but not without a lot of misses, lost and broken arrows, and some significantly hurt pride. So I embraced it and made two short videos of my highlights and my blunders for your entertainment pleasure.
