    Moultrie cell camera issue?

Has anyone else had this problem?

Verizon Moultrie XV-7000i won't turn on. New batteries, new SD card, slide the switch to on and the battery and server lights illuminate for a split second, then nothing. Battery light red and the server light yellow.

I have tried multiple brands of batteries and multiple SD cards. Also tried the "hard reset" recommended on the Moultrie site. Same result.

Any other recommendations before I try and deal with a warranty return?

What batteries are you using? Email Moultrie, they respond very quickly. Or call em if you prefer. Let me know what you find out. If you call, it's a person you can actually understand. Of the minimal problems I've had with moultrie, they made it right quickly.

Yep give them a call. They come with a 3 yr warranty.

I have the at&t camera. You have to be very specific on the types of batteries and cards you use. Have been using it for 3 months now, have not had any issues with it.

Mine only likes the small capacity Moultrie card, type is specific. I tried using a 15gb once and it freaked out and stopped working on me 4 hours away. I also use lithium batteries and get 6 months of immediate transmission 1500 pictures per month.

I have the Moultrie 32gb in mine and only use the Energizer Lithium. I'm about to move to Solar battery pack as these Lithium is putting me in poor house. I've had the issue where it shows 100% battery when actually they are dead.

How long do they last in yours?
