Where to find sausage casing in Collin County?

I want to try my hand at making sausage links rather than having them processed this year. I live in Prosper specifically so the closer the better. ALSO, if you have a good recipe please share!

Cabelas MIGHT have some. I say might because that Cabelas in Allen has gotten progressively worse the BPS bought them. Academy used to carry some but I dont like them.

If not order from Allied Kenco. They have everything you need.

What kind of casing should I be looking for? Usually I have my venison processed at Cinnamon creek into the jalapeño cheddar links. So i guess i am looking for something edible. What meat the fat ratio do y’all recommend?

We use beef casings and mix it 60/40 mix venison to pork. Just make sure you turn your casings.
