Spring Break Port A?

With extended Spring Break I thought about taking a few kids to S Padre and fish and hang out. Called place I have rented before and was told good luck. Since college and HS extended Spring Break it is busier than she expected.

Any folks live in or around Port A that can advise me if it is a madhouse or ghost town there. I see S Padre is having concerts maybe it’s SXSW crowd headed there

I’m in Rockport, more people here today than last week. Not 4th of July crowded but definitely not a ghost town.

Port A is not very busy at the moment . I am hearing talk of a shut down, but that’s all it is as of now, talk.
