My 5 year old just found a nope rope in the front yard and I dispatched him with the old school Omaha for him. Biggest Coral I’ve ever seen personally.

I harvested and collected many years ago and a fresh skin was worth "a lot" Do not accurately remember per inch $ but very respectable amount of cash. I have no idea about today and if even a market? Nice to hang on a board cured or make that hat band as noted. I did one and it got too brittle and failed soon. My error. Live and learn.

I spoke with the owner of a pet shop where we buy live food for my sons snake collection. He told me that now Texas requires a permit to collect or catch what people go out of their way to run over. Snakes! Anything for a buck!

They used to sell for $100 per inch alive, but they no longer make anti-venom I hear so the market dumped.

How are they going to treat snake bite? Wife works in ED and said a vial of anti venom was over $30,000! Sounds like people would be lined up to be catching and selling venomous snakes.

I retired too early and need some sideline so maybe pick up my snake collecting again? I am "semi" joking but think I will do some real research.
