Congrats to all!
My daughter, SIL, and new grandbaby are now living between Decatur and Alvord. So, looks like I am hunting the grasslands this season. I'm from south Texas and don't have a clue where to start. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
I saw today where Abbot is closing the state parks....not sure if that includes our little bit of public land

I'd bet your (what do you call it) "active" approach has scared a few birds the last few weeks?

Texas was great to me this year. Punched my last tag Saturday morning. I'll be headed to New Mexico this weekend to scout for their season that opens next week. I'm hoping I can get into the birds like last year. I did run into a few people, so my goal for this scouting trip is to find some additional ground. I love chasing those mountain birds.

Good stuff right there and great beard! Congrats to him!
