    going camping across the river from Garner state park in June
    looking for a cheap axis doe hunt.

          Don't know where Garner SP is.
          I have only hunted axis once. Last weekend. Took 2...
          Bugscuffle $150 a day, 2 day min. I'd more than happy to go back again and may for a buck in Aug.

              You can drive around the Garner area and just hit one with your truck. That area is crawling with them.

                    I also do not know the area where you are talking about, but, Narco1 may have something for you. He gets a flat $200 for a Friday evening, both hunts Saturday, and Sunday morning. That gets you two doe. There is a reasonable kill fee for bucks. I just went this past weekend and getting animals is no problem.

                      I was just in Garner this past weekend, I didn't see any bucks but lots of does with fawns. I bet that place has some great potential for some big ones. Good luck finding your hunt.
