Looking at buying some new binos. Have a pair of vortex and really happy with them and the customer svc. Looking at 12x50s for western on tripod. Question is diamondback HD vs viper. Is the upgrade worth the money? If anyone has a pair they want to part with let me know. I might have something worth trading for.

To answer your question, yes there is a noticeable difference between Diamondback and Viper HD glass. If you are going to be glassing out west, I’d even recommend picking up a set of used Razors. Your eyes will thanks you after several hours of glassing.
