Best Tile Saw for the Money

Harbor freight model gets good reviews and isn’t bad with the coupon. Kobalt is around the same price but 7” not 10”. I want good quality but will be resold or just sit after a couple big projects so looking for value.

My father bought one from Harbor Freight and has done several large jobs with it. He likes the saw a lot and has never let him down. Bigger is always better so 10” would be my choice verses 7

You will never get good money on resale of a Harbor Freight tool however.

There are several good review sources on Youtube by some Tile Experts.

This one does really well if you’re not cutting pavers or doing 24x24 diagonal. Isn’t a huge pain to move around either.

Recently bought a 7" kobalt sliding table saw and it is everything I wanted.
Rips 24" tile, table is super smooth, extra side table works great for drip drying tiles while cutting more, extended splash guard behind blade keeps floor dry even on those long rips, angle guide and lock are very secure and actually help make cuts, wet pan has strainers to keep pieces from draining out, laser guide and light are very useful. Very nice all around saw, well worth the money, makes tile work less of a pain.

I always run my pump in a clean bucket of water to keep ports clean. Drain more often, but worth it to me.

I have the Harbor Freight 10" saw. I bought it to do my new house. I did three room floors and two showers of 6x24 and 12x24 porcelain as well as a backsplash of glass and slate mosaic with it and it worked flawlessly on all of it. I don't have any other experience to compare it to, but I like the saw a lot.

I have a 10” kobalt with the folding stand sitting in my portable building right now. I did about 500 sqft in my house and didn’t have any issues. I don’t have much use for it anymore if you’re interested in it.

I have heard Harbor Freight quality has improved over what it was some years back.

This is what I have. It works good. I wish the push block was heavier duty. I’ve tiled my kitchen and mud room using it. Got 2 bathrooms to go but have zero complaints. I wish I had gotten the bigger one though. It looks more heavy duty in store. Op id buy one on Facebook if you just plan on using it once and reselling.

Sure wish you were closer to Houston, I would be very interested. One of the saws at the top of my list.

                    Thanks everyone, appreciate the input
