Sorry to hear about the cotton crop.

Slim Pickens for us too, future track on weather channel radar shows some cells rolling through early a.m. hours.

200 acres was picked from 2200. The rows that run east and west need a shredder and adjuster, the north and south rows Im not sure, it was a good crop, babied mostly. Thats 3 yrs of flooding in a row, Im really curious what my banker suggests, he is a good guy. The cotton gin is run by my baby sister and my 84 yr old step Papi, one day he is my cheerleader, the next I try to be his, the cotton on the yard was supposed to be ginned tomorrow but 4 electric poles with heavy wire fell across the road just on the corner of the gin yard, there is a large crew trying to set new poles up. We assumed it would hit Corpus and we were on the dry side, but it just seemed to move down. I dont have to be here anymore, dont know what to do or tell my workers after they clean up a few downed trees in the neighborhood. I need more sugar cane and less cotton, hope it gets you guys wet in Mex, something good should come from this

          Awesome!

Standing water but don’t know the total yet. We really needed it. All the big rains have gone around us this year. Hopefully we all get some more, except FarmDog.

Sorry to hear about that farm dog. I’m just outside Primera and it looked like some of the farmers around us got some of there cotton out, but lots has gone to waste around us.

I’ve been in my house 3 years and been a part of all 3 floods so far. We just got drenched again right now.

Still without electricity, my little Honda generator runs the fridge, sattellite TV, and a fan blowing at my head, Flash flood warning, my house is on a little sand hill, feel bad for the folks with so much water in their homes. Doctors Renaissance Hospital paved a new not really needed parking lot, shedding water where it used to not go before, its kinda like the Doctors Mafia with a leader folks that have access to lawyers are upset Im hearing. Lawsuits and the RGV “I need plausible deniability, stop typing”

Those two pretty much go hand in hand lol

We’ve been without power for almost 48 hours now. Heard from a very reliable source AEP is estimating they won’t get some places up and running till August 1st potentially. Just hope we aren’t in that area.

Sorry. Don’t mean to clutter up this thread. Let me know if you need anything Farmdog. Adios.
