Q.A.D., Schaffer, and Mathews Drop Away Rests

Looking at the Q.A.D. Ultra Rest Pro Series, Schaffer Mat-1 GenII, and Mathews HDII Convertible. What are your likes and dislikes about these rests? What rest do you prefer and why? Thanks for your input guys.

    Jesus ,

I have a QAD ultra rest PRO series (black in color) with harmonic dampener that's basically New in the Box .... shot 20 arrows through it

bought it for a new bow as the seller included a Limb-driver rest on my recent bow purchase

therefore the QD is for sale if you want one , i can send pics of the rest if you want

most shops sell them for $115 + taxes, I'll sell you this one for $85 TYD

($35 savings as it could pass for new)

if my new bow didn't have the Limb-driver , I'd be keeping the QAD as it is a super nice rest

I have the ultra-rest hunter (not pro series) on my bow and the only thing about it I didn't love was the plastic interface with the arrows. Added a little mole skin and solved that problem. The pro-series takes care of that problem out of the box. I can't think of anything I don't like about mine. Been using it for 2 years now, and never a problem.

I have the ultra rest pro and have had no problems with it at all. I like all the features especially the arrow capture.

I have the Schaffer on my Reezen and so far I really like it. It is rock solid, but only time will tell as far as reliabilty. I will say that set up took the bow shop about 3 minutes and I was shooting bullet holes.

Check out the" New" Mathews Down Force rest . It's one of the best rest I've ever seen!
The arrow stays on the rest for aprox. 14 inches before it falls.

I've had both the schaffer and the mathews drop aways.. and IMO they are both very good rests.

I have the same rest but it's not camo and I really like it. $85 TYD is a great deal.

that is a great deal for a rest I have been wanting to get ever since I let down with my trouphy ridge and the arrow flopped all over the place and scared even me!!

someday I will invest...probably closer to the middle of summer! Great deal you offered Jesus. Great deal.

And if you don't want Cajun Blakes, I've got with about the same amount of use that I will sell as well.

I have shot the Schaffer for several years and really like it. I especially like the rock solid fit to my Mathews riser.
