    What is it?

Found in the woods. First I thought some sort of fuel filter or maybe a globe for a lantern but never seen one like it.

Found near an abandoned oil well site. Could also just have been dumped by someone. Maybe a dozen of them total.

Oil or water well? In a low but dry "pond like" area on the side of a hill. Drilled through sand stone. About a foot across. Maybe a foot of water and I shoved a pipe through 3-4ft of muddy silt that kept going.

The rusty parts in the middle pics are well pipe centralizers. Keep the pipe centered in the casing. Not sure about the rest

The last two pics look like holes in the ground.

The top one I believe is an oil bath air filter of sorts, they are usually used on older diesel engines. I could be wrong so do t quote me on it since I've never seen one exactly like that.

Looks like the inside of a old Coleman heater.

The top one is from a kerosene heater. It’s missing the wick.

No it’s not missing the wick. I have the heater that this will fit. The wick is round and moves up and down, to control the heat. This sits on top and holds the heat .

Nasty, oily, and a pain to get going.
                    We loved em.
I would definitely save it, or if you don't want it, I would be interested.

The bottom one isn’t big enough to be a water well, my guess is oil!

Bottom pic is probably an unplugged water well for the rig water supply. Supposed to be plugged but in the “old days” that didn’t always happen. I’ve seen dry holes on locations plugged with a couple sacks of sackrete before. Looked good from the top !
