My farm is north-northeast of Canton and we get our water from Fruitvale. The Fruitvale Water Supply gets good water from their wells.

We have a well on our place in Southern Cherokee County, it was drilled by the O/G Company that drilled the well. We installed a pump 2 years ago and it pumps a lot of water but it's got a ton of Iron in it. How can we filter that? We would just use it for cleaning water or shower water.

They finally got water on the road in front of their house, but the never got it brought in. All of the old relatives had shallow wells, or cisterns, with gutters on the house. I remember during the late 60's, you could get a well with a post hole digger.
