        Pigeon Forge—Gatlinburg.

Believe it or not, the Titanic museum is a must see.

Yankeeinthesouth has a bunch of youtube videos about the area.

You got to stop at the Bass Pro in Memphis.

Go to the Hatfield vs McCoy dinner show and the Dolly Lumberjack show in Pigeon Forge.

Only part I ever been to was Memphis, not impressed, the wife would tell you "everything" she absolutely loved it, especially Pigeon Forge and related area.

Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Cade’s Cove. Go to Dollywood theme park if you have kids. The Hatfield and McCoys is good as well as the Titantic Muesum. I love Memphis. Graceland is a must , Beale Street is a ball. We enjoyed Blues City Cafe the best and B.B. Kings was second. If you like blues and rockabilly then you will love it. Go eat at Central Market BBQ and then walk across the street and check out Civil Rights Muesum. Go to the Bass Pro and pay the $$ to go to the top and have a beer or dinner.

What area of the state will you be in?
                            What are your interests?
                            Do you have kids? Ages?

I'm more of a fan of NOT going to Gburg or Forge if you don't have to, but I grew up there. We cruised the strip and saw everything a million times.

Aint much to do and I used to live there.
Nashville has the Grand Ol Opry, Great Smoky Mountain Park is ok, Chattanooga has Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls. Shiloh Battlefield is interesting and Savannah is a cool little town. Lynchburg got the distillery and there is usually something going on there. Bristol has the best Nascar race there is. Cherokee National Park and Roan Mountain are both very nice. I am not a fan of Jackson or Memphis.

There are plenty of TVA lakes to go fishing in and in May the stripers are hitting pretty good at Ol Hickory lake and Cordell Hull dam, there is some guides there too.

Most everything else is a tourist trap filled with yankees.
