A place to connect with son!!!!

I am looking for a place me and my son can go to just hangout in the woods and fish a little maybe hunt squirrels and armadillos and just explore and be together.I cant afford alot but it dont have to be fancy either.I am in Dallas Texas drop me a line if have a place.We just want to smell the woods and get outdoors.

hmmm...I might have something for you two to do this May when squirrel season opens back up in Camp County. We're in the process of planning an LSBA Youth squirrel/rabbit hunt on my place for sometime during the May squirrel season out there.

Look online at LBJ National Grasslands north of Decatur & about 75 miles N by NW of Dallas.
Almost 20 thousand acres of woods,grasslands, lakes, ponds, hiking & biking trails, hunting, fishing & wildlife.

There are Texas State Parks all over the state are for the exact thing you are wanting to go do.(minus the hunting part)
