All that said, maybe somewhere around the west to southwest edge of the hill country is a good place to start.
Just give it a little while longer and you'll be covered in them lol

OP, right in the shoulder on shot placement.
Good luck and post some LDPs.

Oscar, HighWest will do a few bow hunts, but extremely difficult in mountain country.
If you want contact number, shoot me a pm.

Can’t compare hunting aoudad on huge property out west and sitting in a blind over a feeder IMO.

              I heard it all now!

Please don't take offense - But you're not experiencing "dumb luck" you're experiencing the early stages of a curse.

Just wait until you start seeing less of everything else.

Aoudad are just pigs but a lot more destructive.

I had a great time hunting with Ross and Cody with Great American Hunting Services. They have a nice place in the Davis Mountains with a couple archery setups.

Broadside, straight up the leg, 1/3 of the way up the body.
                    DON'T shoot behind the shoulder.

I always tell my hunters to shoot them right in the shoulder. They are very tough and it helps to take out a couple wheels. They usually drop, or don’t make it very far. All of the African animals are the same.

Not much running off with broken shoulders and no lungs
Kiss on shooting tough game and even deer too

                        That’s the correct placements!

I shoot behind the shoulder with a bow and in the neck with a rifle. If you are looking for a shoulder mount, shoot behind the shoulder with your rifle.

If the person mounting can’t fix a bullet hole in the shoulders they aren’t much of a taxidermist!

Shoot back behind the shoulder I shot this guy then got a seconds chance at him about 6 months later. This is the closest diagram your going to get. I dug out my broad head that was lodged just in front of his lungs
