I am Georgetown. My phone signal comes from AT&T and towers all around with towers even in view. Weak signal Always in my area. My cable has a monopoly and they know it and just like satellite company's raise prices every time I turn. The day these other methods can provide my high demand needs, I will be buying in and telling Suddenlink audios. Their Internet is fast (but never close to what I pay for). Reading info here, may be some possibilities.

A lot of this is individual phones.
I have a Galaxy S10+, my girl has a LG.
We live in a barndo, and inside, I get nothing, she gets 3 bars most of the time and can stream, text, etc..
Only place it doesn't work is the bathroom.
We are both on AT&T and there's only 1 tower in the vicinity.
Some phones have better radios in them.

What model nighthawk are you using?

We’re using Hughesnet because as bad as it is, it works better than the point-to-point Wireless internet provider for our area. Our pine trees are probably part of the problem but even people within a block of the tower and a clear shot at their tower says it’s slower than Hughesnet.

OTR or something similar, sounds like a good option. We just got a flyer from ATT pushing their fixed wireless but people in the neighborhood say their data limits slow coverage pretty early in the month if you’re streaming shows.

any experience with high speed solutions?

                  Little cheaper than OTR

Seriously thinking about getting HSS or OTR and ditching DISH

Anyone know what’s up with OTR? No products available on their site now.

Is high-speed solutions a good alternative?

I was speaking of "unlimited" plans for around $60. ATT has too many strings.

ATT says internet not available at my address.

I have no clue what happened with OTR, had full intentions of signing up today.

Just checked out high-speed solutions. Just a little confused on if it is $49/month or $99/month
