Prayer sent!

My job as a husband is to be the leader by focusing on the Lord and not myself. I am to direct my sight of what is good and righteous in the eyes of God and then pray with my wife every morning and every night so we always stay on the same path. If she strays or I stray from the path we are on then we no longer walk together but are torn in two. The only way to stay in step is communication, I don't always want to sit and chit chat because I am a man so we do it through prayer together and then discuss any issues we need to focus on. God's word is your map so you aren't both wandering around aimlessly through life hoping to find common ground.

Prayers. Bitterness rooted in or triggers waiting are worst enemies in a relationship. Get involved in a good group at church. Serve together and serve one another. You both can make this work and turn your relationship into a thing of beauty. Takes work from both sides. Forgiveness is a huge start. Recognizing what's taking place and owning it for a positive change. Put God first and as other said, spend time praying together. Pray for one another. We all have different strengths and weaknesses. Recognizing them helps to understand one another better and never use to take advantage.
