well done. Was this in a river or lake? How deep was the water you were fishing?

River, about a mile above the lake. All lines were set in 8ft or less water next to the main channel, all hooks were baited with live perch.

Rebaited with a mix of live, cut , chicken liver and hot dogs. Headed there now to check and pull the lines out for the week!

Got a nice one yesterday.


We are having trouble keeping mud cats alive in the bait well. They are going belly up like they are bloating. Never seen this. If anybody has an idea it’s appreciated.

Probably just getting too hot. Try adding some ice to the water.

Been itching to get out there these past couple weeks but for some reason all the work seems to come in on Fridays. Plus it’s been to hot Lol. Good luck fishing guys.
