Had 29 blues before 1030 on Cedar Creek yesterday with a 3 lb average. Turned back a 15 lber.

I assumed it was a blue. It would have topped that channel record, I can assure you of that.

If any of ya'll have a ranch pond in the Cotulla area or New Braunfels area and would be willing to sale a few days of fishing, please let me know. I'll pay a daily fee to sit around the bank and catch some good fish. I would like to keep a couple for dinner though.

Question for you yellow cat experts......Ive been running jug lines for several months now and I havent caught what I would consider a smaller yellow. The smallest one Ive caught was 17 lbs. Do the smaller ones have a different diet until they get bigger? Do they hang out in different places than the big fish? I just think it is weird I havent caught any in the 5-10lb range. Ive used anywhere from smallish perch to giant perch. Ive caught a few eater size channels and blues on the smaller baits though. BTW, not complaining, just curious.
