I have been running that hull since 2011. my first 25 was hull #3, before they had a cap on them. I've had yamaha 250 SHO, and Yamaha 300's on them and have put chingles of days and hours on them.
It completely, 100% depends on the bottom what the boats will run and get up in. If you're in hard sand, you'll have a hard time getting up in 2'. If you're in mud, you can blow the bottom out, and get up shallower, maybe 18".
in general, it's a max 60-62 MPH boat light loaded. Fully loaded, realistically it's 55-57 with full fuel, and typical load. you can easily fish 4-5 adults out of it, 5-6 if everyone knows what they're going.
I've had mine all over the bays, and up to 45 miles offshore, and only once got puckered up offshore in a weird squall. The boats are basically unsinkable as long as the hull stays intact.
The haynie magnum is a great boat too, but the extreme is a bit shallower, and little more stable when drifting. The haynie magnum will cut the chop better. motor for motor, the extreme is faster too. can't go wrong with either boat.
the absolute worst thing about the majek, is dealing with premiere yamaha if that's where you buy it. They're the worst $*#)_*$_#)$ dealer in texas for bay boats. long wait times for service, an owner who could GAF in general post sale, just overall, a **** dealer. I 100% believe they'd be out of business if it weren't for their contract with Majek. Haynie (chris's marine) is solid as it gets with customer service.
good boat, PM me if you want anymore specifics.
