Buck does a "spa" treatment on their knives when you send to them. They charge almost nothing for it ($6.50 I think). They come back like new. It would be great if Case would help. I'd reach out to them first.

After talking to case I think I would rather find someone local that I can trust. This knife is to sentimental to get lost in a big factory. With the little research of done I haven't found another like it. Im guessing its from the 40s to 60s. Hard to tell I wasn't given much info on it. My grandfather past when I was about 7 and my mom just gave me the knife and she has no info on it.
