Price of Kid's braces these days

the annoying part is going every week or two to have them adjusted, add bands, remove bands, pull a tooth, get an x-ray, etc, etc. ... for the next 2 yrs. or so

Is it just me or is this braces deal the norm these days? I'm 44 and there wasn't near the ppl that "needed" them when I was a kid...

yep. And dentists now days talk people into getting them put on kids that are not even teenagers yet. Their teeth are still moving and when they come off, in a few years they'll need 'em again.

I wonder how all us old farts got old without ever having braces ? Just thinking outloud.....

I really wish I had gotten them when younger....

My daughter is close to needing them. I took mine off after 3 months. Got tired of getting popped in the mouth with them on. When I handed to the dentist I thought my dad was gonna pop me in the mouth. LOL But I did save my parents some money and my teeth are fine.

We only go every 5-6 weeks to get adjustments made
