Price of Kid's braces these days

For those of you that have had braces(teeth) put on one of your kids lately, what are the going rates. I know it can vary by what needs to be done but give me a ball park.

Also, please list where you live so I can get an idea if pricing is regional.

I am fixing to have to go thru it with two kids so I am wondering what it is going to cost me.

Daughter was about $5k for two years.

5K per kid is what my daughters have paid in central Texas. Most of the places have a payment plan. Good luck!

About $5k for each of my boys. My wife has Invisalign and its more than that. We're in NE TX.

$4800 was the quote I received. Then the orthodontist changed her mind and recommended a quad helix device for now. That’s $1600 and my daughter will still need braces in a few years.

I’m 57, had really crooked teeth, and got my braces put on my teeth on 7-7-77. It cost my parents $700 over 4 years. Not sure why I remember that.

$3900 San Antonio. That is for braces, all treatments, follow up appointments and a retainer for when the braces come off.

All 3 of mine had to have them to the tune of around 5 grand a piece. This is in Montgomery.

Same but if you have dental insurance they may cover approx 1k for children under 20. Going through this now. Me and my son are both getting the Invisalign.

We had quotes $4,800 - $5,500 here in Katy a few years ago. x4 for my crew.
You can get a dental plan through Costco if you’re a member for around $300. With the insurance we paid $3,500/ea for first two a few years ago and $3,800ish for last two.
