First Prayer Request

My wife and I had to let our 10 year old Wiemer(Smokey Joe Novak) this past Friday. He had been fighting cancer for the past several months and it finaly became too much. Having a pet is one thing but Smokes was more like our child. We don't have kids yet and Smokey had taken over that role. He did a great job of it BTW. It has been very hard dealing with his absense because he participated in every aspect of our lives. I'm hoping it gets better soon because it hurts something terrible.

Prayers sent brother ive been there . I have a son of my good dog Blue his name is camo. He is about a year old now and very well behaved. It breaks my heart to hear about your loss & i know he wont replace your smokey but it might help soften the blow. You can have him if you want him.

Prayers sent, it does get better and the pain decreases with time I found when we lost our golden retriever Beau a few years ago. I think he'll be the 1st (maybe only) one to run up to greet me in Heaven one day in the future. A new dog helps cure the pain, too.

Sorry to hear about Smokey but he is definitely better off. Time will heal but you will never get over it, that is the way God designed us. I'm praying for you and Tammy. I tried to call today but no answer I'll call tomorrow.
