Trophy White Tail Turned Into A Wildebeest Hunt

I was recently invited to a trophy hunt on the Loma De Cometas Ranch in Crystal City TX. What started as a whitetail hunt ended with something I had no idea I would be bringing home. I went into my trophy hunt after a 170-175" double main beam. I was unsuccessful with catching up with my target deer. I was asked if I would be interested in stalking and harvesting a Wildebeest. After very little though I agreed and the hunt was on. We finally found the heard and made our stand and picked out the nicest one that was on the shoot list. It was a great weekend with me able to harvest a fallow doe as well.
