It’s still up. I was thinking same thing. Must not fit narrative agenda.

it was a targeted isolated shooting. still sad but doesn't fit the mass shooting anti-gun narrative.

Last I looked they have not even announced if there is a suspect at large. Does that sound like a murder/suicide?

The 2 girls that were killed were 19 & 20 year old sisters. One was a freshman there. I am thinking domestic violence.

Yep, Ex boyfriend of the younger one was the shooter. He has been apprehended.

I heard two different reports of injured child. One said age 2 & another age 10. What was the association to the sisters?

Glad to hear he was caught. I'll ask my son if he knows any more about it. He's a freshman there.

The guy had been released on January 28 on a $15,000 bail after being charged with aggravated assault, domestic violence, and evading arrest. He has multiple priors. The 19 year old lady was a freshman and the mother of the 2 year old. She was the guys ex-boyfriend.

The story went local only but if you Google it you will get more details.

According to Garland police, Abbaney said Smith assaulted her Jan. 27 at a home on Bosque Drive with a frying pan, lamp and then pulled out a knife before leaving the residence. Though she was not hospitalized, Abbaney reported injuries to the right side of her head, her eyes and had red marks and abrasions after the alleged attack.

Smith was arrested and an emergency protective order was issued on Abbaney's behalf. Smith was freed Jan. 29 after posting $15,000 bond.

NBC 5 has also learned Smith has a string of priors dating back four years with charges including evading arrest, theft and aggravated robbery.

Another great job by our justice system... What a shame for the 3 girls...

Good example of the challenges of our judicial system. Same goes for the mental health community when it comes to the mass shootings. You hear about failures of both when things like this occur. The biggest problem is who can actually predict the future & what someone is capable of doing. Certainly a sad situation & obviously not a good history on this guy. I hate it for the families & small child left behind without a mother. Prayers for all connected to this

The shooter should be tried and if found guilty, publicly executed within 30 days of conviction as a repeat offender and violation of the protective order that had been issued against him... There's no doubt in this case....

Do this a few times and this kind of crap would slow WAY down.
