    Aoudad hunts info needed

I’ve wanted to kill a big Aoudad for a long time. Like actually have a legit chance at a 33”+ ram. I’ve put it off to hunt other things. Seems prices are sky high now. Are all the free range west texas hunts $4000+ now?

Any hidden gem outfitters? Lol. I know of the Sproul and HWO and desert safaris etc. all are $5000+. Looking at all my options before I jump.

I know where you can get a 30+" for $83. Might take a while to get the opportunity though.

West Texas Hunt Org might be the only chance any cheaper for that quality and probably a year out or more. I’ve about given up on one at the prices they want for them I just can’t put that value on them

The 777 Ranch has some giants and your should be under or near $4K all-in.

you can go to a hill country high fence hunt for much less but in my opinion part of the experience of an aoudad hunt is going to the west texas mountains. I used Desert safari's and had a great hunt. I hear good things about Sproul, but do not know about the price. when I went Desert safari and HWO were the same price.
I think the cost of those hunts are high but that's just what it costs from a reputable outfitter.

This is who I went with and would not hesitate to book him again. When I went they where only about $2500, I don't think I'd pay what they are bringing now, it has gone up substantially in the last 5 or 6 years

Desert Safaris, Wildlife Systems, Chance Parker, HWO are tops of list.
More expensive, but results are there.

Sproul has beautiful ranch and accommodations. I don’t think that area produces the giants though.

Glass Mountains and around Marfa hold best sheep.

And can’t compare hill country and high fence to chasing them in west Texas. Chasing aoudad one of the funnest hunts out there.

Mike McKinney does offer a DIY that is pretty reasonable.

You're gonna go cheap on the hunting trip, after what you spend on rifles...?

                            It's about the trip man...

Thats so expensive. Try and find a non-guided hunt and a place that needs them taken. Should be half that price. Will keep an eye out.
