I have a 75MB video file I need to send by text or email. Is there some free? software I can use to compress the file? Or a website where I can post and send a link?

you can probably upload to Youtube and Mark as Private and send someone the link.

The easiest is load it to YouTube then publish it as private, then you can share it with whom ever you want (by sending the link), and no one else will be able to find/see it.

some sort of cloud based storage would be the safest depending on the video. I like dropbox the best. Like it's been stated already, the easiest may be to upload it via youtube and mark it private and share it to your recipient. You can do this by downloading youtube to your phone if that is where the video file is. Shouldn't take too long .
