My 18 year old daughter totaled her car (she is okay), but I am trying to find her a reliable car that will last her through college, and trust the TBH Brotherhood over a dealership any day. She understands she will be lucky to find a good car in her budget, which is under $5,000.00, but I asked her what her preference would be and she said a sedan b/c that is what she is used to driving, although she is open to a smaller SUV. Please let me know what you've got, or if you know of good deal a trustworthy family member/friend has for sale. Thanks!

We have a one-owner 2004 Infiniti FX35 with 128K miles. All maintenance records and runs like a top.
My father purchased it new 2004, gave to his granddaughter 3 years ago, and I literally purchased my princess a new ride last night.
The Supreme High Commander (i.e., wife) is demanding we sell it, but I was thinking it would make a good commuter for the daily grind from Katy to downtown and back.
But since you're in Katy and this pretty much fits the need, maybe the Big Guy upstairs is trying to tell me something.
If you're interested, KBB shows the Private Party range to $3.5K to $6K. I'd take $3.5k for a TBH brother and fellow Katian.

You guys are great I have had several generous offers both in the thread and through PM. I have replied to some of you guys via PM. I just got home from work and my daughter is out, so I need to review the offers with her. It is just a balancing act between the car's age, mileage, known issues, and price. On top of that, I would like for my daughter to pick the car that she will hopefully drive for the next few years. Thanks again fellas!
