They are a blast. I shot 3D tournaments for years until all of the local clubs around me finally died off. I only made one ASA Qualifier shoot. I would love to get back into it but there aren't any shoots close to me anymore. The couple that I've seen have been on Sunday and that doesn't work for me.

I use to love shooting in them, but haven't shot in one in years. All the ones I shot in didn't allow range finders though, I could've saved a fortune in lost arrows, ha!

The pulled pork sandwiches were the best part after the event.

You can shoot the ASA quailfiers. They are Sat. or Sun.

Range finders are allowed in some of the ASA classes.

I wish they weren’t allowed still. But since they are I choose to be lazy lol

I took 2nd place in one when I lived in MS. I don't remember what my score was or even what class I was shooting in. Must have been only one other shooter for me to take 2nd! I think it was a 10yr old girl. They are fun. I need to get out there and shoot some!

We used to have a TBH North Texas / South Texas rivalry where we would drive, meet and shoot against each side. Rolled to Dallas and they rolled south to Austin. A lot of TBH members used to drive to Crawford Texas and shoot at the LEVI BAUR ARCHERY SHOOT as a group. S

Some members ran open class and others ran hunter class. I shot both classes through the 2000s.

Had some awesome times shooting with a lot of TBH members who don't even surf the green screen anymore.

Shot a lot of Indoor League shoots in Austin - the old Archery Country days with Bowiz, Archery1st, Krivoman, Sika, BigL, etc etc etc.

                          Good old Mesquite road noise.

That is actually the 4th site that Mesquite Archery Club has occupied. When I first started shooting at Mesquite it was by the Mesquite Rodeo grounds area. Then it moved to Bonnie View and I-20. Then it moved on down Bonnie View Rd about a mile. I was president of the club for a while at that site and that is where we held the 2000 ASA state championship and the 2009 ASA state championship. Then the club moved to its current site.

Great job on the video !!
